Ouster brought its 3D lidar perception platform to life at the Global Security Exchange 2026 in Atlanta, captivating attendees with live booth demonstrations and high-impact use cases on the X Stage.
Ouster's team just wrapped up an incredible week in Atlanta at the Global Security Exchange (GSX 2026). The show floor was packed with energy as security leaders, partners, and industry innovators gathered to explore the future of physical security.
Throughout the show days, Ouster's live booth demonstration of Ouster Gemini served as a major centerpiece. Attendees got a firsthand look at how 3D spatial intelligence is redefining physical security, safety and operational awareness across complex physical environments.
Redefining Security with Ouster Gemini
Ouster Gemini is a lidar perception platform, combining Ouster high-resolution 3D digital lidar sensors with proprietary AI software. The system delivers precise, long-range detection, classification, and continuous tracking for pedestrians, cyclists, and vehicles.
Built to eliminate the traditional trade-offs of 2D surveillance, Ouster Gemini offers distinct advantages for modern security operations:
- Accurate detection: Detects, classifies, and tracks people, vehicles, and cyclists in 3D
- All-weather reliability: Engineered for long-term reliability in complete darkness, bright sunlight glare, fog, rain, or snow, while reducing nuisance alarms
- Seamless VMS integration: Connects directly into key video management systems to elevate threat detection without requiring specialized staff retraining
- Configurable no-code event analytics and alerts: Enables real-time analytics and alerts, including zone occupancy tracking, speed monitoring, tailgating detection, and intrusion detection logic
Today, the Ouster Gemini platform, including our Ouster BlueCity traffic management solution, has contracted deployments across more than 1,200 sites worldwide, collectively covering 65 million square feet of critical infrastructure, roadways, and commercial facilities such as substations, retail sites, and logistics yards.
X Stage Insights: The Rise of Physical AI
Beyond our booth, Dilip Vutukuru, Head of Product (Software Solutions) at Ouster, took the X Stage to share insights on the rapid evolution of security technology.
During his presentation, Dilip explored how Physical AI and 3D spatial intelligence are transforming modern security operations—shifting facilities from reactive monitoring to automated, real-time response for enhanced security, safety and operational efficiency.
Partnering on the Show Floor
The power of the Ouster ecosystem was on display across the exhibition hall, featured alongside two key industry partners:
Constellis Booth
Ouster Gemini AI was on show at the Constellis booth, highlighting the Ouster Gemini integration into Constellis's LEXSO operational intelligence platform.
LEXSO fuses data across multiple sensing modalities—including lidar, radar, thermal imaging, acoustic detection, and video analytics—into a unified real-time operating picture. Ouster Gemini serves as a foundational intelligence layer within LEXSO, processing high-density 3D spatial data to automate response protocols and drive physical AI security operations.
Genetec Booth
Ouster Gemini was showcased inside the Genetec booth, highlighting Ouster Gemini's integration with Genetec Security Center Restricted Security Area (RSA).
This integration allows security operators to leverage a 3D Lidar Perimeter Intrusion Detection System (PIDS) directly within their familiar RSA dashboard. Once integrated, detected intrusions instantly trigger automated responses, logging events and slewing Pan-Tilt-Zoom (PTZ) cameras directly to the exact spatial coordinate of an intrusion.
Ouster Sensors Spotted on the Show Floor
Ouster digital lidar sensors were also spotted in the Knightscope Security booth, integrated onto their Autonomous Security Force Robots. Knightscope delivers autonomous machines, AI-driven software, and licensed security agents to help protect people, property, and critical infrastructure.
3D Spatial AI Across Atlanta and Beyond
The impact of Ouster technology extended well beyond the walls of the Georgia World Congress Center.
Across downtown Atlanta and surrounding metropolitan corridors, Ouster's flagship lidar traffic management solution, Ouster BlueCity, was on display. Ouster BlueCity has 30+ contracted intersection deployments, including the Mercedes-Benz Stadium (host venue for the 2026 FIFA World Cup).
In collaboration with the Georgia Department of Transportation and our regional ITS partner, Southern Lighting & Traffic Systems, Ouster BlueCity is delivering:
- Optimized traffic flow: Real-time traffic signal actuation reduces congestion and idle times
- Enhanced safety: Detect, classify, and track different types of vehicles, pedestrians and cyclists for analytics and real-time safety logic features
- Real-time alerts: Proactive, real-time vehicle-to-everything (V2X) safety alerts for connected vehicles via on-board units
From high-security enterprise perimeters to busy municipal intersections, GSX 2026 proved that the transition toward 3D Physical AI is well underway.
Thank you to our customers, partners, and attendees who made the event such a success. We look forward to seeing you at the next show!
