Revolut Business bulk payments work differently depending on your plan, how much you're sending and whether you're making an international payment (which may involve converting money to another currency).
In this guide, we've explained how Revolut Business bulk payments work, what the published fees and limits are, and how the bulk-payment features compare with those of Wise Business.
Note: Revolut features, fees, eligibility checks, protections and timelines may vary by customer, business type, plan, payment route and country. Check Revolut's current fees and the price shown before you confirm a payment.
Wise services and features are not available in all regions, and country and product restrictions apply. Visit wise.com to check availability. For fees and terms, see Wise Business pricing.
Key takeaways
How do Revolut Business bulk payments work?
Bulk payments let you prepare several payments together instead of setting them up one at a time. On Grow, Scale and Enterprise, you can upload a CSV, XML or, for local UK payments, BACS file. Each file can contain up to 1,000 payment instructions, according to Revolut's bulk-payments guidance.
You can also pick several saved recipients yourself. Uploading a file is done in the web app; choosing saved recipients works on web or mobile. You can pay people in different destinations in one run, but the details Revolut asks for depend on the currency and country.
How much do Revolut Business bulk payments cost?
Bulk payments are included on the Grow, Scale and Enterprise plans, but aren't currently available on the Basic plan. As each payment is still separate, the total depends on your plan, how much of its monthly allowance you've used, the payment route and whether you need to convert currency.
Pricing context: The figures above are UK plan terms published on 19 October 2026, not a quote for a particular batch. Revolut's plan page advertises Grow “from £30/month” and Scale “from £90/month” on annual billing; the table shows the separate monthly-billing prices and annual totals in Revolut's legal fee schedule. Additional charges may apply: Revolut lists a 0.6% fee on currency exchange above the plan's monthly FX allowance and a 1% fee for exchange outside standard FX market hours. Other route-specific fees may also apply. Check the current fee schedule and your in-app quote.
What are the Revolut Business bulk-payment limits?
Once you know what the batch may cost, check that it can handle the size of your payment run. The 1,000-entry file limit tells you how many payments you can prepare together; each payment also has its own maximum amount. Revolut's bulk guidance explains the file limit, while separate transfer limits apply to individual payments.
For example, Revolut's current limit guidance caps one GBP payment to a UK recipient at GBP 250,000. Other currencies and routes may have different caps. Revolut shows the applicable limit in-app before you send, and says the limits can't be increased.
Revolut's published guidance does not specify a cap on the total number of transfers that can be made. If you have more than 1,000 payments, you'll need separate files. Splitting a file won't let an individual payment exceed its route limit.
There are a couple of practical restrictions too: you can't pay recipients identified only by Revtags, and you can't create a recipient list for later without making a payment.
