TYLOO, Karmine Corp, Global Esports, and 100 Thieves are heading to VALORANT Champions 2026 in Shanghai as the Stage 2 champion and No. 1 seed from their respective regions.
Together, the four teams completed a Team Razer sweep of all four VCT Stage 2 regions, but their paths to Shanghai looked very different.
TYLOO broke through for its first VCT trophy. Karmine Corp turned an 0-5 Stage 1 into an EMEA title. Global Esports built a season of firsts into a Pacific championship, while 100 Thieves turned a major rebuild into two trophies in the same year.
Ahead of VALORANT Champions 2026, here is how all four earned their place in Shanghai.
TYLOO: Breaking Through in China
Before 2026, TYLOO had yet to win a VCT trophy or qualify for an international event.
A strong Stage 2 group run earned TYLOO a direct place in the playoffs, where a loss to JD Gaming sent them into the lower bracket.
TYLOO responded with three straight wins. They swept All Gamers and Nova Esports before beating Bilibili Gaming 3-0 to earn another shot at JD Gaming in the grand final.
After dropping the opening map of the rematch, TYLOO won the next three and closed the series with a 13-2 performance on Summit to secure a 3-1 victory.
The result gave TYLOO its first VCT trophy, first international qualification, and China’s No. 1 seed at VALORANT Champions 2026.
Karmine Corp: Turning the Season Around
Karmine Corp entered 2026 looking to return to international competition after missing out the year before.
Stage 1 began with a difficult 0-5 group-stage run. Ahead of Stage 2, ZE1SH moved into the head coaching role and N4RRATE returned to the lineup.
Karmine Corp went 4-1 in Stage 2 group play, finishing first in a group featuring Team Heretics, Team Liquid, and Fnatic to secure a direct place in the playoffs.
Wins over Enterprise Esports and FUT Esports sent Karmine Corp into the Barcelona grand final and secured its first VALORANT Champions qualification.
Against Team Liquid in the final, Karmine Corp took the opening two maps before Liquid answered on Lotus. KC then fell behind 7-0 on Summit before recovering to close the map 13-10 and win the series 3-1.
The victory completed Karmine Corp’s turnaround from an 0-5 Stage 1 to VCT EMEA Stage 2 champions, sending them to Shanghai as EMEA’s No. 1 seed.
Global Esports: A Season of Firsts
Global Esports entered 2026 still chasing its first VCT Pacific playoff appearance and first international qualification.
A third-place group finish in Stage 1 put Global Esports into the Pacific playoffs for the first time. Wins over RRQ and Paper Rex then secured a place at Masters London, marking its first VCT international appearance.
Global Esports carried that progress into Stage 2, finishing second in its group before beating KIWOOM DRX and VARREL to reach Busan. A 3-1 win over T1 then set up a grand final against Nongshim RedForce.
Nongshim took the first two maps, leaving GE needing three straight to win the title. Global Esports answered on Abyss and Lotus before closing Haven 13-10 to complete the reverse sweep.
The win gave Global Esports its first VCT trophy and first VALORANT Champions qualification.
UdoTan was named Finals MVP while competing on the Razer Viper V4 Pro.
100 Thieves: A Rebuild That Delivered
100 Thieves had not appeared at VALORANT Champions since 2022. Their path back began with a major rebuild.
Asuna and Cryocells remained at the core of the roster, joined by a new coaching staff and a younger lineup featuring Vora and Timotino. bang also returned after a year away from the organization.
An extended bootcamp ahead of the Esports World Cup helped set up a run to 100 Thieves’ first major international VALORANT title.
That momentum continued into Stage 2, where 100 Thieves reached the Americas grand final against LOUD in São Paulo.
The series went all five maps. On Haven, 100 Thieves closed out a 14-12 victory to take the series 3-2 and secure the regional title. Asuna was named Finals MVP.
With an international title and a regional championship secured in the same season, 100 Thieves return to VALORANT Champions for the first time in four years as the Americas’ No. 1 seed.
Four Regional Champions Head to Shanghai
All four Team Razer regional champions now head to Shanghai.
TYLOO, Karmine Corp, Global Esports, and 100 Thieves enter VALORANT Champions 2026 as the No. 1 seeds from China, EMEA, Pacific, and Americas respectively, each carrying a regional title into the season’s biggest event.
