Telecommunications networks are becoming more distributed, software-defined, and data-intensive.

As service providers modernize their infrastructure, they need a common cloud foundation that can run business-critical network functions today and support the AI-enabled, autonomous intelligent networks of tomorrow consistently across core, edge, and hybrid environments. Red Hat provides that foundation through Red Hat OpenShift and the broader Red Hat portfolio. The Red Hat telco network cloud reference architecture builds on that platform and defines validated configurations.

That is why Everpure is pleased to announce its inclusion in the Red Hat telco network cloud reference architecture.

The Red Hat telco network cloud gives operators a consistent platform for running cloud-native network functions (CNFs) across the environments that matter most, from core network applications to virtualized workloads and emerging AI use cases.

Within this architecture, Everpure provides the data layer through Portworx® CSI and Everpure™ FlashArray™ storage. Together, these technologies help operators bring the simplicity and agility of cloud operations to the infrastructure beneath their networks.

This collaboration builds on a shared commitment to open, scalable, carrier-grade infrastructure and extends the value Everpure delivers through its work with leading telecommunications partners such as Nokia and Red Hat. That work helps service providers modernize with less risk, less complexity, and more flexibility.

A simpler foundation for telco cloud

Telco cloud environments are complex by nature.

Operators need to support multiple applications, deployment models, and infrastructure footprints while maintaining strict availability and performance requirements.

Within the telco network cloud reference architecture, Everpure helps simplify that challenge with a consistent data platform that supports multiple Red Hat OpenShift clusters and workload types.

Storage resources can be managed separately from compute, giving operators more flexibility to scale infrastructure instead of tying storage capacity to individual servers or clusters.

The result is a more standardized operating model across sites. It can help reduce infrastructure sprawl, streamline management, and make it easier for teams to deploy and support CNFs.

Built for always-on operations

Network services cannot wait for maintenance windows.

Service providers need infrastructure that can evolve without disrupting the applications and services their customers depend on.

Everpure Evergreen® architecture helps operators keep the data foundation current as network requirements change. Its modular, software-defined design supports non-disruptive hardware and software upgrades, so teams can adopt new capabilities without replacing the entire platform or moving data.

Figure 1: Evergreen architecture supports a consistent data foundation across edge, on-premises, and public cloud environments.

Everpure brings the performance, resilience, and operational simplicity these environments require.

The all-flash data platform delivers predictable performance for demanding workloads. Non-disruptive upgrades help operators modernize hardware and software without taking applications offline.

Non-disruptive upgrades become especially important as telco cloud deployments move from initial rollout to day-two operations. A consistent data layer can help teams reduce operational risk, troubleshoot more efficiently, and maintain reliable service across increasingly distributed environments.

Scale from core to edge

The next generation of networks will not be defined by a single workload or location. Operators will support cloud-native network functions, virtualized applications, observability data, and AI workloads across core and edge environments.

The telco network cloud reference architecture describes how to deploy and operate those workloads on Red Hat OpenShift—from centralized management (hub) to distributed workload clusters. Everpure complements that model with a data platform that can scale with changing workload requirements while preserving a consistent approach to management and protection.

This gives service providers more flexibility to adopt new technologies at their own pace without repeatedly redesigning the storage foundation beneath them.

As data volumes grow and AI becomes more deeply embedded in network operations, a high-performance and operationally simple data layer can help turn infrastructure modernization into a long-term advantage.

Value across the ecosystem

The strength of this architecture comes from the combination of proven technologies and complementary expertise. Red Hat provides the common cloud-native platform—OpenShift—for carrier-grade workloads, with automation and multicluster operations aligned to telco reference designs. Everpure provides the validated carrier-grade data layer within the telco network cloud reference architecture. Together, they help service providers build a more repeatable and resilient foundation for modern network services.

For operators, the benefits are practical:

  • Faster, more predictable deployment of CNFs
  • A consistent data layer across multiple clusters and sites
  • Greater flexibility to scale compute and storage independently
  • Non-disruptive modernization that helps protect uptime
  • Simpler operations and less infrastructure sprawl
  • A foundation that can support future virtualized and AI-enabled workloads

This is the same type of outcome that has made our collaboration with Nokia so valuable: an integrated, carrier-grade approach that helps service providers move forward with confidence.

Rather than assembling and managing disconnected infrastructure components, operators can adopt a tested ecosystem built around open platforms, lifecycle simplicity, and predictable performance.

A practical path to modernization

Telco cloud transformation is not a single event. It’s an ongoing journey that requires infrastructure to support new applications, new operating models, and new business demands over time.

With Everpure validated for the data layer in the telco network cloud reference architecture, service providers gain a data foundation designed to make that journey simpler. They can modernize the network while maintaining the operational consistency, resilience, and flexibility required for mission-critical services.

The future of telecommunications will depend on open ecosystems, intelligent automation, and infrastructure that can adapt without disruption.

Everpure and Red Hat are helping make that future more practical, one workload, one site, and one cloud-native network at a time.
