We’re supercharging Copilot on Windows with Hybrid Intelligence. With your permission, Copilot can tap into the context on your PC, take action for you, and use local models when it makes sense, giving you more capability while helping your tokens go further. Read more: https://lnkd.in/gFaRcv_X

Hybrid Intelligence is the CFO-friendly AI - less token cost, more capability. Finally AI that saves money while doing more.

The permission gate matters more than the model itself. If Copilot can use local context only after explicit approval, buyers can keep sensitive files off the cloud path while still getting the action-taking part of the agent. That is the part sales teams will actually trust.

📊 Market research. A question came up: What’s Albert Einstein’s hourly rate? We needed someone to reconstruct what spacetime is made of... but his schedule is impossible. So, we decided to tackle it ourselves 👇 🔗 What is spacetime made of? Huh? Yes, you read that right—it’s not a hallucination. Satya Nadella The article explains how Microsoft is turning Windows into the “home for hybrid intelligence,” where AI agents can run securely across local PCs and the cloud using MXC containment, upgraded Copilot experiences, on‑device models, and a new spectrum of AI‑first Windows PCs from thin‑and‑light laptops to RTX builder rigs & DGX‑class “personal AI supercomputers.” HEART reply: Because this article is about Windows becoming the secure home for hybrid intelligence—with agents running partly on your PC & partly in the cloud—our HEART lens asks whether these powerful, agent‑ready Windows devices will be affordable & widely accessible enough for everyday workers, students, & smaller firms to gain real productivity & resilience, rather than letting only a few large, well‑capitalized players capture most of the new value. Conclusion: Hybrid intelligence on Windows looks economically promising, but under the HEART Score Economic Model its success will ultimately be measured by how far these capabilities diffuse down the income and firm‑size ladder,& whether they translate into broad‑based gains in opportunity, security, & long‑run economic health, not just headline AI performance. #HeartScoreEconomicModel #HeartEquityFramework

The combination of local and cloud-based intelligence is a meaningful step forward. Using context from the PC while giving users more control over how that information is accessed could make Copilot much more practical for everyday workflows. I’m particularly interested in how this approach will balance personalization, performance, and privacy as AI becomes more deeply integrated into our work.

Hybrid Intelligence plus local models is a smart combo. Allowing Copilot to use PC context can save steps, but people need granular controls and clear prompts. Will there be per-app permissions and easy ways to audit what Copilot accessed?
