Katja Meden corpora, JT-DH2026, ParlaMint, ParlaSpeech 2026-09-04
We are happy to announce that the ParlaSpeech-SI, the Slovenian version of the ParlaSpeech speech corpora, is now available via the CLARIN.SI NoSketch Engine concordancer. ParlaSpeech-SI contains 4.080 hours of parliamentary speech, with the accompanying transcriptions from the ParlaMint-SI corpus.
A great opportunity to learn all the concordancer search options through ParlaSpeech-SI is the upcoming CLASSLA-express 3.0 workshop, which will take place on September 16 at the Faculty of Computer and Information Science within the Language Technologies and Digital Humanities conference.
The corpus includes rich metadata about the speakers and automatic annotations at both the text level, such as sentiment and topic, and the speech level, including filled and silent pauses. You can send feedback within the next two weeks to helpdesk.classla@clarin.si. After this period, we will prepare the final version and publish it in the CLARIN.SI repository. We welcome all comments, remarks and suggestions from users.
