Highlights of Award-Winning Products

Cordless stick vacuum cleaner "RACTIVE Air STATION" <EC-CR1>

A station-type cordless stick vacuum cleaner designed to fit modern lifestyles. As homes become smaller and cleaning habits shift toward frequent cleanups, demand has grown for a vacuum cleaner that can be kept within easy reach. Therefore, Sharp reconsidered what a vacuum cleaner should be and adopted a thin, slim design that sits neatly against a wall. This realizes three qualities: the appearance of furniture that blends into a room; nimble handling like a broom; and easy maintenance. The aim was to transform the vacuum cleaner from a "machine to be hidden away" into a "tool that stays close to everyday life."

Plasmacluster Clothes Drying Dehumidifier "HYBRID365" <CV-UH160>

With demand for indoor laundry drying rising due to the growth in dual-income households and unstable weather, this clothes drying dehumidifier combines powerful drying performance in every season with quiet operation. Designed for year-round use, it features an easy-to-use structure and an appearance that harmonizes with living spaces. A panel covering the air intake openings reduces operating noise while creating a clean, uncluttered look. The large louver that expands the airflow range also folds completely flat when not in use, improving storability. A surface texture that makes scratches less noticeable and blends with interior décor completes its form as a "tool that stays close to everyday life" throughout the year.

Refrigerator <SJ-TD15R>

A compact refrigerator equipped with Sharp's proprietary "Dual-Swing Door," which allows the door-opening direction to be changed. Meeting the needs of people who live alone and cook for themselves, it has a large freezer convenient for bulk purchases and prepared meals. The refrigerator compartment includes a two-depth "seasoning pocket" that neatly stores containers of different sizes and shapes. Minimal gaps between the top of the door and the cabinet create a flat, square appearance, while the subdued texture harmonizes with the room. The upper door gasket is designed to resist dust accumulation, and the freezer door handle is designed with a shape that makes it easy to wipe away dust and dirt from the finger groove, ensuring it's easy to maintain.

Rice cooker <KS-CS05J>

A 3-cup microcomputer-controlled rice cooker. Inspired by the reassuring warmth of an earthenware pot, it features a softly rounded form and substantial ribbed detailing. A QR code providing access to rice-cooking settings and cooking menus is placed on the top surface for easy scanning with a smartphone. The inner frame surrounding the pot has a smooth shape that makes dirt easy to wipe away. The design realizes a sense of comfort both in use and at rest.

Diamond Ridge Curl Iron <IB-C530>

A curling iron developed for intuitive handling. Its safety-conscious design addresses the essential qualities of a tool: intuitive operation and reassuring use even when the appliance is outside the user's field of view. The form makes orientation and rotation easy to sense without relying on sight alone. A lever designed to fit the fingertips and a structure designed with consideration for the risk of burns make it easier even for inexperienced users to achieve their desired hairstyle.

4K TV "AQUOS XLED" <X9A series>

This mini-LED TV combines a high-brightness, wide-color-gamut "N-Black Wide" panel that reduces reflections with 4K Super Quantum Dot technology. Enhanced control of the mini-LED backlight enables more precise brightness adjustment. The newly developed "Advanced RGB Quantum Dot Rich Color" technology uses highly pure red, green, and blue light to reproduce deeper, more vivid reds and greens. A rotating stand and Sharp's proprietary acoustic design improve usability and the viewing experience in Japanese living rooms. Its simple, unobtrusive design supports an immersive viewing experience while blending naturally into the surrounding space.

Slim-type Stacker Robotic Storage System

A Goods to Person (GTP) (*1) transport system that can be built using existing shelving in logistics warehouses and parts-storage areas of manufacturing plants. Transport robots travel through the facility, and built-in transfer arms collect required items from storage racks, load them onto the robot's storage unit, and carry them to picking personnel. A new mechanism allows the storage unit to be detached and handed over as a complete unit. The system can be introduced without changing the existing work environment and while the warehouse or factory remains in operation. By streamlining picking and reducing human error, it helps improve productivity.

*1 GTP (Goods to Person): A system in which robots bring goods to people instead of people going to retrieve the goods.

Generative AI service "CookTalk"

A generative AI service for users of the Healsio Water Oven and Healsio Hot Cook, providing advice on everyday cooking concerns and appliance operation. When users ask via smartphone about menu planning, preparation steps, or how to use the appliances, the AI assistant "Shiori Tsukumo" (nickname: Shiori-chan) responds in natural language based on knowledge accumulated through appliance and dedicated-recipe development. Its multimodal user interface allows users to consult by voice while viewing the screen, making it convenient for users whose hands are occupied while cooking.
