・Drain-free Circulating Laundry System “Triple Free Laundry”

A Drain-free Circulating Laundry System recycling and reusing wash water, significantly reducing water consumption. Proprietary filters optimized for laundry wastewater purify water during drainage, enabling repeated use. Its compact design allows installation in locations without water supply and drainage infrastructure, helping maintain hygiene in disaster shelters and water-scarce regions.

At CEATEC, technologies, products, and services with outstanding innovative value are recognized each year. This year, Sharp’s “Triple Free Laundry” received the Excellence Award in CEATEC AWARD 2026 program.

*3 The CEATEC AWARD 2026 honors technologies, products, services, and other exhibits demonstrating outstanding innovation among entries submitted by exhibitors at CEATEC 2026.

・Instant 5G Network

A prototype of a portable Local 5G system integrating both the base station and core network into a compact carry case. It enables rapid deployment of secure, high-speed wireless connectivity and, when combined with a satellite terminal, provides reliable data communications even in disaster zones, remote areas, and locations without existing network infrastructure.

・MEO/LEO Satellite Communication User Terminals

Terminals that use proprietary beam control to accurately track non-geostationary MEO and LEO satellites and maintain optimal connectivity on moving platforms exposed to motion and vibration. Using compact, lightweight technologies developed for smartphones, they support vessels, vehicles, construction and agricultural machinery, and drones.

・Disaster-Preparedness DX Powered by Everyday Devices

A solution that contributes to disaster prevention and mitigation with products already used in a wide range of settings such as homes, businesses, and public facilities, helping enrich people’s lives and society. Local governments detect local anomalies from appliance data, and appliances give voice alerts. TVs automatically display evacuation sites, while projectors share useful information at shelters. This phase-free DX uses everyday products to support users immediately after a disaster occurs through their stay at evacuation shelters.

・Zinc-Air Flow Battery

A long-duration energy storage technology characterized by low cost, large capacity, and high safety. By enabling the effective utilization of renewable energy, it contributes to the realization of a decarbonized society. At the same time, it helps secure essential power during emergencies and supports people’s daily lives.

・Water Supply Leak Detection System

A system combining highly sensitive vibration sensors, LPWA-based time synchronization, and proprietary signal analysis technology to detect leaks in water pipelines and estimate their locations. It enables early detection of small underground leaks, helping improve maintenance efficiency and reduce infrastructure risks.

*4 LPWA (Low Power Wide Area) refers to a class of wireless communication technologies that enable low-power, wide-area, and long-range communications.

・Space Solar Cells

For more than 50 years, Sharp has supplied highly reliable solar cells for satellites and space probes as the only manufacturer in Japan certified by JAXA (Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency).Sharp offers high-reliability solutions for applications ranging from LEO satellites to deep-space missions, with a portfolio of high-efficiency compound and cost-effective silicon solar cells.

●Presentations on the features and applications of each item will be held in front of the monitors set up within the booth.

In addition to the exhibits themselves, Sharp has also placed a strong emphasis on the booth design. An open and warm atmosphere was created by deliberately exposing lumber that would normally be hidden behind booth walls. Furthermore, by using an adhesive made from surplus seaweed, the lumber can be reused after the exhibition. Through these efforts, we have developed a sustainable booth that takes into account not only the exhibition itself but also the circular use of materials.
