Where should we actually use an agent?
Finding the right use case can mean workshops, brainstorming sessions, and a lot of experimentation before development even begins.
But what if you could begin somewhere else?
Your existing applications already have the following context about how your organization works:
- The workflows you’ve built
- The processes you support
- The problems your applications were designed to solve.
That information can help show you where agents could make a meaningful difference.
That’s the idea behind Agent Spotter, which surfaces personalized agent recommendations in your existing applications. This new experience turns agentic opportunities in the applications into a starting point for building.
Start with the applications you already have
Agent Spotter uses application context to identify opportunities where agents could add value, then surfaces personalized recommendations based on what it finds.
Instead of wondering what kind of agent to build, you ask, “Where could agents improve the applications we already rely on?”
Agent Spotter recommends applications to explore first, then surfaces specific agent opportunities in each one.
Go from an application to a specific agent opportunity
Finding an application is only the beginning. With each recommended application, Agent Spotter surfaces specific agents that could be useful based on the application’s context.
Consider a loan origination application. Rather than simply telling a developer, “AI could be useful here,” Agent Spotter can show specific opportunities such as receipt processing, credit card checks, or loan approval.
That changes the starting point. You’re no longer brainstorming potential AI use cases in the abstract. You have a specific application, a specific workflow, and a specific agent opportunity to evaluate.
And if one of those recommendations makes sense, you can take the next step.
Turn a recommendation into a starting point for building
Agent Spotter goes beyond discovery. You can choose an agent recommendation, and Agent Spotter provides resources to help you begin building it. These include a prompt you can copy and an agent template you can download.
From there, you can open ODC Studio and use Mentor to continue building.
Move from a recommendation to a build starting point with a prompt and downloadable agent template.
The goal is to eliminate some of the blank page work that comes before development. The process still uses the developer’s judgment about what should be built or how it should work.
Application → recommended agent → build starting point replaces application → brainstorm possibilities → define a use case → figure out where to begin.
Already building agents? Find where to go next
If you already have agents in production, Agent Spotter can help you look across your existing application portfolio for more opportunities. That could mean another agent in an application where you’re already using agentic capabilities, or an opportunity in an application you haven’t explored yet.
Agent Spotter transforms agent development from a series of isolated experiments into using what you already have to identify where agentic capabilities could extend next.
Exclusively using O11? You can explore What's possible, too
You don’t have to begin with a blank slate there either.
Agent Spotter can surface potential agent opportunities for existing applications so you can see where agentic capabilities could be useful.
When you find a recommendation you want to pursue, ODC provides the path to start building it.
Your (next) agent may already be hiding in an application you use every day
Agentic development does not always have to begin with the question, “What should we build?”
Sometimes a better place to start is with what you’ve already built.
Agent Spotter helps you examine your existing applications, uncover potential agentic opportunities, and turn the ones that matter into a concrete starting point for development.
And because the recommendations are based on your applications, you’re not starting with a generic list of AI use cases.
You’re starting with yours.
