The World Quantum Cannes Festival runs 17 to 18 November 2026 at the Palais des Festivals et des Congrès in Cannes, under the theme Accelerating Business Impact. More than 190 speakers appear in front of around 1,200 industry leaders, investors, researchers and policymakers, with an honorary committee chaired by Alain Aspect.

The programme runs on three tracks: strategic conferences on adoption in finance, pharmaceuticals and energy; an innovation showcase of hardware demonstrators and market-ready systems; and a dealmaking strand with an Investor Day and B2B matchmaking.

An event about business impact asks which parts of the field are already in service rather than which are promising. Quantum-safe security is one of the few clear answers: quantum key distribution and quantum-generated entropy are running in production networks today.

Keynote: Defence in Depth in the Quantum Era Wednesday 18 November, 10:40 to 11:00, Conference Room 1 Part of the session Target Market Insights: Ensuring Security in the Quantum Era Grégoire Ribordy, Co-founder of ID Quantique, gives the keynote.

Catherine Simondi, VP Marketing and Communications, is on site with Grégoire across both days.

Exhibition and networking access is free of charge on both days. To hear the keynote, join us in Conference Room 1 on 18 November at 10:40.
