Pulse answers one question for Saleor merchants: how is my store doing today? Targeted analytics in the dashboard with an AI-ready data layer.

September 24, 2026•Updated: September 27, 2026

Merchants do not need more data. They need a clear answer to one question:

How is my store doing today?

Pulse is a new analytics app for Saleor, coming soon to Saleor Cloud. It shows the store metrics that teams actually use every day: revenue, orders, returns, customers, products, and fulfillment.

You get financial and operational trends, period-over-period comparisons, top products and customers, low-stock checks, and alerts when something looks suspicious, such as a spike in cancellations or unpaid orders.

Install it, let Pulse import history, and keep data up to date with webhooks and automatic synchronization. No SQL. No spreadsheet exports. This is not a replacement for a BI warehouse. It is a daily health check for your store, already inside the Saleor dashboard.

A few key decisions we made:

  • Focus. A small set of useful signals is better than another wall of widgets.
  • Speed. Metrics are pre-aggregated, so reading dashboard data does not put a load on your Saleor instance.
  • Privacy. Customer names and email addresses never enter the analytics database.
  • Embedded. Numbers appear on the dashboard homepage and product pages, not in a separate tool you have to remember to open.

Where your team already works

Pulse uses the new Home mount point in Saleor, so analytics can sit on the first screen of the dashboard. Product analytics appear next to the product you are editing.

Product analytics: revenue, units, channels, customer composition, stock, and sell-through rate.

Top products, top customers, and revenue by shipping country.

Operations: fulfillment metrics, anomaly alerts, order status, and volume by geography.

How the numbers work

Revenue means net product sales

Revenue means net product sales

After discounts. Before taxes and shipping. The rest of Pulse uses the same definition.

Revenue

Subtotal for products after discounts. Taxes and shipping are not included in the main metric.

After returns

The same revenue metric minus returns. Toggle this on the Revenue card if you want to see data after returns.

Scope

Money is tied to currency and channel. Operational metrics compare rates between currencies rather than summing incompatible totals.

Single definition

KPI cards, trends, rankings, product widgets, and future agent tools use the same calculation layer.

Finance

Net sales, returns, discounts, shipping, total fees, orders, average order value (AOV), new customers, top products and customers, sales by country.

Operations

Fulfillment, cancellation, and return metrics, order volume by channel, anomaly alerts, new vs. returning customers, low stock.

Technical implementation

Pulse receives orders via webhooks and periodic synchronization, then writes pre-aggregated summaries so the dashboard can read them quickly. Customer names and email addresses are not stored in the analytics database. When a user with the appropriate permissions opens "Top Customers," Pulse fetches display names from Saleor at the time of reading. This structured layer will also become the foundation for the agent interface.

Built for the future

Built with agents in mind

Built with agents in mind

We designed Pulse so that AI can work with the same numbers the dashboard shows. Query tools are already ready: they respect access rights, are read-only, and are tied to shared definitions.

Coming soon

This means you will be able to ask questions like "What changed this week?" or "Which products are running low?" and get answers based on Pulse data without needing to write SQL queries. Agent capabilities are coming soon to Saleor Cloud customers.
