Oracle AI World 2026 brought customers and partners to Las Vegas to explore how AI can support their existing business systems. At the event, Datadog participated in a session with Peloton Consulting Group and hosted a booth covering observability across Oracle Fusion Cloud Applications, Oracle Database, and Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI).
Here are event highlights and takeaways covering AI in business applications, multi-cloud databases, Peloton’s monitoring experience with Datadog, and Oracle’s plans for government workloads.
AI agents move into business applications
The week’s biggest theme was building AI into the systems people already use. Along these lines, Oracle announced a new collaboration with OpenAI that brings OpenAI models, ChatGPT, and Codex together with Oracle’s applications, data, and cloud infrastructure. The centerpiece of this collaboration, Oracle AI Workspace, is designed to let employees complete approved business workflows across Oracle Fusion Applications, NetSuite, Oracle AI Database, and OCI from within ChatGPT. Additionally, for Oracle Fusion Applications, Oracle introduced Fusion Companion and Fusion Agentic Home. These applications let people state a business objective and delegate the work to AI agents and agentic applications.
When agents run business processes, the health of the underlying jobs and integrations becomes the health of the business. Datadog’s Oracle Fusion Cloud Applications integration collects metrics and logs from Enterprise Scheduler Service (ESS) jobs, plus audit logs of user activity. Teams can use this data to spot performance regressions before they turn into support tickets. Pairing the integration with Synthetic Monitoring lets teams test Oracle Fusion from the outside in automatically, the way a real user would.
Multi-cloud was another central theme of the event. Oracle AI Database@AWS, @Azure, and @Google Cloud put Oracle Database services running on OCI inside AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud data centers. This year’s announcements show continued expansion of Oracle’s cloud platforms, including Oracle AI Database@Google Cloud arriving in Mexico and Snowflake coming to OCI as a native service. This allows more teams to keep Oracle Database next to the applications that use it.
When systems expand, unified visibility matters. Datadog supports Oracle AI Database@AWS, @Azure, and @Google Cloud through dedicated subintegrations (AWS,Azure,Google Cloud), each with more than 50 out-of-the-box metrics and dashboards. Using those integrations withDatabase Monitoring,APM, andCloud Cost Management, teams can troubleshoot slow queries, validate performance after a migration, and attribute database costs across clouds and teams. How Peloton uses Datadog to monitor AI workflows in Oracle Fusion
Ellie Cohen, Product Manager at Datadog, and Bishwa Satpathy, AI Architect at Peloton Consulting Group, presented “Build Trust in AI-Powered Oracle Fusion Apps with End-to-End Visibility” in Theater 6 at the Oracle AI World Hub. They used Peloton Consulting Group’s own experience as the example: It runs on Oracle Fusion, runs its own AI agents on it, and uses Datadog to see what is happening.
For Oracle customers, the takeaway is practical. As Oracle puts more agents inside Oracle Fusion, the jobs, integrations, and roles underneath them become the control surface for the business. Teams that can see those layers end to end can adopt agents with confidence. They can also answer an auditor’s questions with data. Oracle plans multi-cloud database support for government workloads
For government and public sector teams, Oracle announced plans to obtain FedRAMP® Class D (formerly FedRAMP High) certification for Oracle AI Database@AWS, @Azure, and @Google Cloud. The services are planned to run on Oracle Exadata Database Service in AWS GovCloud (US), Microsoft Azure Government, and Google Cloud with Assured Workloads. Oracle plans US availability in 2027, with timing varying by cloud, service, and region.
Moving mission-critical Oracle workloads into government clouds raises the same questions as any multi-cloud move: Where are the problems, who changed what, and can you show it? Datadog helps public sector teams answer them in one place. To learn more, see how Datadog supports government teams.
Monitor your AI-powered Oracle environment with Datadog
Datadog brings visibility into Oracle applications, databases, and infrastructure across clouds into one place. Teams can use theOracle Fusion Applications integration,Database Monitoring,OCI Monitoring, andSynthetic Monitoring to investigate issues across environments.
