The 2026 League of Legends World Championship kicked off on October 15, and Faker returns to the biggest stage in the game with another piece of history within reach: a fourth consecutive world title and a seventh overall.

For Team Razer, the tournament carries added significance. Faker and Razer have worked together for more than a decade, spanning a career that already includes six world championships. Now, he’s back at Worlds with another title on the line.

Faker isn’t the only Team Razer representative at Worlds 2026. Hanwha Life Esports, Karmine Corp, and Movistar KOI are also competing for the Summoner’s Cup.

The Chase for Four

Six world championships. 2013, 2015, 2016, 2023, 2024, and 2025.

The last three came consecutively, making Faker the first player in League of Legends history to win three straight Worlds titles.

A fourth in a row would take Faker somewhere no League of Legends player has been before. It would also give him a seventh world title, extending a record that already stands alone.

T1 enters Worlds 2026 as Korea’s third seed, with Faker’s title defense beginning in the Swiss Stage in Allen, Texas. From there, the road leads through the Knockout Stage and, for the teams still standing, the Grand Final at Barclays Center in Brooklyn on November 14.

Built Alongside Faker

Faker’s relationship with Razer has evolved alongside his career. At Worlds 2026, he returns with the Razer Viper V3 Pro Faker Edition, developed with his input around the setup he uses in competition.

Its lightweight, symmetrical design supports the fast, controlled mouse movements demanded at the highest level of League of Legends, while the Faker Edition comes pre-loaded with his preferred mouse settings.

It’s another chapter in a partnership that has now spanned more than a decade, with Faker continuing to help shape the gear he takes into competition.

Team Razer at Worlds 2026

Faker isn’t the only one representing Team Razer in the United States. Three more Team Razer teams are in the field, each arriving with a different story.

Hanwha Life Esports

Hanwha Life Esports arrive as MSI 2026 champions, having defeated Bilibili Gaming 3-2 in the Grand Final on home soil in Daejeon on July 12.

They followed that international triumph with an LCK runner-up finish, qualifying for Worlds as Korea’s second seed. Having already lifted an international trophy this season, HLE arrive with recent experience winning on the biggest stage.

Karmine Corp

Karmine Corp has spent much of 2026 within touching distance of a trophy. They finished runners-up at LEC Versus, LEC Spring, and the Esports World Cup, while Caliste was named LEC Summer MVP.

They enter Worlds as EMEA’s third seed, beginning their campaign in Play-Ins after a season that has seen them consistently challenge Europe’s best.

Movistar KOI

Movistar KOI return for a third consecutive Worlds appearance after another deep LEC run. A 3-1 victory over Natus Vincere secured their place at Worlds before they went on to reach the LEC Summer Final, earning EMEA’s second seed and a direct place in the Swiss Stage.

With two previous Worlds appearances behind them, Movistar KOI bring valuable international experience into another championship campaign.
