Ethan Tandowsky has joined ElevenLabs as chief financial officer.
Ethan was most recently CFO of Adyen, the payments company that provides critical infrastructure to many of the world's largest enterprises. He joined Adyen's finance team in 2016, and helped take the company public in 2018, before becoming CFO in 2023. During his time there, Adyen grew from 400 to 5,000 people, expanded into new international markets, and increased revenue 20x.
ElevenLabs is entering a new stage of scale. We are now a global team of 800 people, serving millions of developers, creators, and businesses. Our industry-leading voice and audio AI models support over 90 languages, and we have launched 10 million conversational agents across sales, support, hiring, training, and many new product experiences. Large organizations now account for 55% of our revenue (up from 40% this time last year), and we’re proud to serve enterprises like Nvidia, Stripe, Klarna, and Deutsche Telekom, and governments from Brazil to Ukraine. At the same time, we are building new financial models to support the creative ecosystem, including the industry’s first marketplace for creators to earn money from their voice IP.
As the business becomes more complex, Ethan will scale our financial infrastructure and shape how we invest in research, product, and global expansion to support our long-term growth.
