MAN4 – COMMISSIONING AND HANDOVER – MAX. 4 CREDITS
OBJECTIVE – To encourage a properly planned commissioning and handover process that reflects the needs of the building occupants.
Assessment criteria:
- A building or dwelling user guide is developed
- A training programme is prepared for the building occupants
- The building design intent is clarified
- The available support team is detailed
- Introduction and demonstration of installed systems
- Introduction to the building user guide
- Maintenance requirements, including current maintenance contracts and regimes

MAN5 – AFTERCARE SUPPORT – MAX. 3 CREDITS
OBJECTIVE – To provide aftercare support to the building owner or occupants during the first year of occupation to ensure that the building operates and adapts to the needs of users.
Post-occupancy evaluation (POE):
- design intent and construction review,
- feedback on internal environmental conditions,
- maintenance, services, access, and consumption data.
