Recently Gartner published its “Voice of the Customer for Integration Platform as a Service” research. Workato feels that being named one of the Customers’ Choice vendors is a testament to our relentless dedication to customer success and business impact.

We believe this recognition reflects what our customers experience every day: an integration platform built to keep pace with enterprise complexity and the growing demands of AI-ready orchestration.

iPaaS platforms remain the foundation for how enterprises connect applications, data, and processes both inside and outside their walls. Gartner defines an integration platform as a service (iPaaS) as a vendor-managed cloud service that enables end users to implement integrations among applications, services, and data sources, both internal and external to their organization. As AI adoption accelerates, the platforms that make this connectivity governed, fast, and AI-ready are the ones enterprises are rating highest, and we believe our customers told Gartner exactly that.

What our customers are telling the market about enterprise integration and governed automation.

The reviews behind the recognition

This recognition is driven entirely by our customers who took the time to share their experiences on Gartner Peer Insights. We have read every review, and we feel the signal is consistent: our customers are not describing a tool that is merely adequate. They are describing a platform that changed what their organizations are capable of.

An overall rating of 4.9 out of 5.0 and 97% willingness to recommend, across 112 eligible reviews as of June 30th, 2026 in the iPaaS market, reflect the kind of customer trust we work every day to earn. Workato’s review count was the highest of any vendor evaluated in this year’s report.

What we think makes Workato the platform enterprises trust for integration

Workato is built on the conviction that integration is not a back office function, it is the connective layer that determines how fast an enterprise can move. Our customers rely on Workato to connect hundreds of systems, automate multistep processes, and now, increasingly, to give AI agents governed, real-time access to enterprise data and workflows.

Our low-code recipe builder puts integration in the hands of the people closest to the problem, while developers retain full access to custom scripting, REST APIs, and SDK-level extensibility. Pre-built connectors and guided onboarding mean our customers move from design to production faster, and our support and customer success teams are consistently cited as a differentiator.

Our customers across manufacturing, services, finance, retail, and beyond describe the same outcome: a platform that scales with them as their integration needs grow more complex, and more AI-driven.

Workato platform capabilities

We believe that Workato is the modern iPaaS platform uniquely positioned to govern and scale enterprise AI. Whether teams are connecting core systems, automating multistep processes, or building the AI-ready data pipelines that power agentic workflows, Workato delivers the power, flexibility, and governance to get there faster.

What is the Gartner® Peer Insights™ Voice of the Customer for iPaaS?

Gartner® Peer Insights™ Voice of the Customer for Integration Platform as a Service synthesizes verified, first-hand reviews from experienced IT professionals on platforms that connect applications, services, and data sources across the enterprise. It is a peer-driven resource designed to help IT and business leaders evaluate vendors based on real-world customer experience rather than analyst opinion alone.

This aggregated peer perspective, along with the individual detailed reviews, can also complement expert insights such as Magic Quadrants and Market Guides. Vendors in the “Voice of the Customer” document are categorized into four quadrants based on User Interest and Adoption (X-axis) and Overall Experience (Y-axis). Voice of the Customer includes vendors with 20 or more eligible published reviews (and 15 or more ratings for “Capabilities” and “Support/Delivery”) during an 18-month consideration period. In the integration platform as a service market, Gartner Peer Insights published 1,066 reviews and ratings during the consideration period ending 30 June 2026.

We believe the VoC for iPaaS, much like the relevant Magic Quadrant and Critical Capabilities research, cannot and should not be the only compass in an integration platform buying decision. Multiple factors are at play when evaluating iPaaS platforms, including fitness with business and technology requirements, availability of skills and support in a given region, and purchasing and ongoing operating cost. Nonetheless, verified and validated excellence in customer experience is undoubtedly crucial for buying decisions. We encourage IT and business leaders to read it and hear directly from customers.
