What's New in September 2026

Your marketing team doesn't work in one place, and it doesn't wear one hat. Writers draft in Claude. Strategists live in analytics. Admins protect the brand, and builders connect Jasper to everything else.

That spread is a good thing, until your brand standards can't keep up. Every new tool, persona, and integration is one more place where the message can drift.

September's release closes those gaps. Multiple Audiences lets one asset reach the whole buying committee. The GEO Hub now shows how AI talks about you compared with your competitors. And your workspace defaults now follow your team into Claude and your own integrations, so your brand rules apply wherever the work happens.

Here's everything new this month, and how to put it to work.

Write for the Whole Buying Committee, Not Just One Seat at the Table

Content and campaign teams have usually done the audience work already. But persona docs were built for people. A writer reads the deck once, keeps every persona in mind, and blends them for each asset. AI can't do that. So teams pick one persona and miss everyone else, or merge several into a composite that's hard to maintain and fuzzy for everyone.

Multiple Audiences in Jasper changes that. Every audience in Jasper IQ is now a modular building block you define once and combine for any asset.

  • Pick a primary, then add up to three more. The primary audience sets the framing. Jasper finds where each secondary audience overlaps with it, like a shared buying trigger or a common success metric. Business and Enterprise workspaces can attach up to four audiences per generation, and Pro workspaces up to three.
  • Use it wherever your team creates. Multiple Audiences works everywhere Audiences already do: Agents, Chat, Canvas, Grid, the Jasper API, and Jasper MCP. Auto IQ now recommends a full lineup, and you can save that lineup as a workspace default.
  • Rewrite for a new reader in minutes. Open any Canvas document, choose Rewrite with new Audience(s), and Jasper creates a new version beside the original. Only the audience-driven parts change, so you can see exactly what moved.

See How AI Talks About You (and About Your Competitors)

If you own SEO or brand perception, you know a sentiment score doesn't tell you much on its own. Is it a problem with your brand, or does every brand in your category get described the same way in AI answers? Until now, there was no easy way to tell.

The GEO Hub now puts you side by side with the competitors you track. You can see where you lead, where you trail, and which sources each AI engine relies on.

  • Compare sentiment across your competitive set. See positive, neutral, and negative sentiment for every brand you track, plus a written comparison and the actual language AI uses about each one. Want more detail? Ask the GEO Agent to break it down by topic cluster, AI provider, or individual query.
  • Find out which sources AI engines trust. Every citation is now sorted into one of seven types, from Brand and Competitor to Community and Publisher. Filter by ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, or Perplexity to see what each engine leans on and where to earn coverage.
  • Spot your mentions at a glance. Topic clusters now show how many AI answers mention your brand, broken down by provider, so you don't have to review answers one by one.

Brand Control That Travels With Your Team

Admins could set up the perfect workspace defaults, but brand governance stopped at the edge of the Jasper app. If someone asked Claude to "use Jasper" without naming the style guide, they didn't get the style guide. Asking every person to remember it in every prompt just doesn't scale.

Now your workspace defaults follow your team wherever they create. Set your standards once, and they apply everywhere.

  • Cover everyone working in Claude. When someone generates content or runs an agent through Jasper MCP without choosing IQ, your default Style Guide, Brand Voice, and Audience apply automatically. Anything they pick on purpose still wins.
  • Bring the same defaults to your integrations. Developers can turn on a new option in the Jasper API so generations, templates, and agents fall back to your workspace defaults.
  • Check what your IQ was built from. Brand Voice, Audience, and Style Guide pages now show their sources, and each one opens in a click. Last-updated dates make it easy to spot IQ that's running on old material. Sources are recorded for IQ created from now on.

Build Better Agents, Faster

If you're the one building agents and integrations for your team, a great agent shouldn't start from a blank page, and improving one shouldn't put the live version at risk. This month's Studio updates take care of both, and our developer docs got a refresh too.

  • Start from the output you want. When you create an agent in Studio, attach an example of the output you're after. Jasper uses it to give you a much stronger first draft.
  • Test changes before they go live. Create, test, and document new versions of an agent before you make them active. No more duplicating agents or disrupting the version your team already relies on.
  • Get from test to integration faster. The Jasper API reference is fully up to date, with a complete OAuth guide and a refreshed Postman collection. Try requests first, then build them into your app.
