Three distinct areas invite guests to explore application-specific audio solutions.
In the business communications area, Sennheiser will present its latest solutions for meeting and collaboration environments, among them the new TeamConnect Ceiling Medium Plus, TeamConnect Bar S, and DeviceHub.
The Sennheiser wireless area showcases the bidirectional Spectera wideband wireless ecosystem including the now available Spectera handheld, the EW-D narrowband systems for musicians seeking an app-controlled wireless solution, and EW-DX for multi-channel applications. Sennheiser’s renowned live wireless microphone capsules, and the new Neumann KK 104 A and KK 105 A capsule heads complement the offer.
As a special highlight, partner SoundBase demonstrates its brand-agnostic RF planning app, with full Spectera integration making it the world’s first RF management application built for both narrowband and wideband systems across multiple manufacturers. The exciting Remote View feature is another SoundBase highlight, letting users generate shareable links with customisable views for all members of a production.
Until today, wireless operators who needed access to hardware data across a production or show site all had to download the same monitoring software onto their devices to be able to see what was going on, creating a lot of network traffic. Remote View addresses this issue and streamlines the workflow by acting as a built-in web server.
“Remote View is a much smarter way to share wireless hardware telemetry across multiple endpoints without running duplicate instances of software,” says Donny Kuser, co-founder of SoundBase. “By reducing connections and network traffic, your control network stays efficient and your gear stays responsive.”
Finally, the Neumann area showcases the KH 150 studio monitors, MT 48 audio interface, KMS stage microphones, MCM miniature clip mic system and NDH headphones. The full KH monitor family, including the new KH 310 II and KH 350 are shown in the Sound Room, where listening sessions with the KH 350 3-way monitors and KH 870 subwoofer will take place for 15 minutes every hour.
A special highlight on the last show day is a session on WMAS technology as part of LLB’s official seminar programme (Backstage, 8 October at 12:30 p.m.). The presentation will be brand-agnostic, and a great opportunity to learn more about professional wideband audio, its potential and achievements, and what it means for the future of professional wireless audio.
