Early access to the Aave mobile app starts today, August 26. A limited group of users are receiving Ghost Passes, which are invites that grant a friend immediate access to Aave App by skipping the waitlist entirely.
How Ghost Passes Work
Open Aave App and check the activity section to see how many Ghost Passes you have. If you've received one, you'll also be notified by email or push notification.
If you've received a Ghost Pass, follow the instructions in the app, pick a friend to send it to, and let them know they now have access.
Who Gets Them
We're sending Ghost Passes out in several batches. The first batch went to users onboarded through 1:1 interviews, users who were early to the waitlist, and users that referred a lot of friends to Aave App.
Later batches go out on a rolling basis to additional users with high referral rates, users who engage with Aave on X and Instagram, and users making content in support of Aave App, among other criteria.
If you're on the waitlist, staying active on socials (including X, Instagram, and LinkedIn) improves your odds, since we'll be running giveaways there too. Oh, and be sure to ask your friends if they received one.
What's Next?
If you've received Ghost Passes, put them to use and bring friends and family onto Aave App.
We'll expand access in the coming weeks as we continue onboarding users.
