Digitalization Program of University Medicine Magdeburg – Website and Intranet Relaunch

ADM + ELEKS: Germany's GovTech dream team, bringing Estonian digital leadership to German public administration

Berlin, 19 October 2026 — ELEKS and ADM Interactive have been selected by University Medicine Magdeburg (UMMD), following a public tender, to modernise its digital ecosystem. The initiative includes a complete relaunch of UMMD's public website and the development of a modern, scalable intranet portal built on the open-source Drupal platform. Together, these initiatives will strengthen UMMD's digital sovereignty and establish the foundation for future digital services, content management, governance and long-term operations at one of Germany's leading university medical institutions. Cyber resilience is a priority across the entire architecture.

ADM Interactive, an Estonia-based technology company positioned in this partnership as a “GovTech Powerhouse,” brings experience from one of the world's most advanced digital ecosystems – a pioneer in digital identities, online services and citizen-centric administration. ELEKS GmbH, ADM's local German partner, will handle delivery, engineering and long-term operational support on the ground.

Combining Global Engineering Expertise with GovTech Experience

The engagement combines ELEKS' expertise in digital transformation, engineering, UX, delivery and managed services with ADM Interactive's extensive experience in public-sector and GovTech projects – bringing deep technical delivery capability together with public-sector domain knowledge for one of Germany's leading university medical institutions.

Together, ELEKS and ADM Interactive are helping UMMD build a future-ready digital platform for patients, employees, researchers and visitors – improving user experience, accessibility, security and scalability as part of a long-term digital transformation and innovation partnership between UMMD, ELEKS and ADM Interactive.

What our customers say

The breadth of knowledge and understanding that ELEKS has within its walls allows us to leverage that expertise to make superior deliverables for our customers. When you work with ELEKS, you are working with the top 1% of the aptitude and engineering excellence of the whole country.

Right from the start, we really liked ELEKS’ commitment and engagement. They came to us with their best people to try to understand our context, our business idea, and developed the first prototype with us. They were very professional and very customer oriented. I think, without ELEKS it probably would not have been possible to have such a successful product in such a short period of time.
