We are migrating our underlying user management system to separate human users (IDP users) from technical users (API users).

The migration has an impact on apps or scripts that manage API users. If you maintain any apps or scripts that use the endpoints from the table below in combination with API users, please adapt them as soon as possible. Human/IDP user endpoints are completely unaffected.

Timeline and next steps

  • Target switch window: November 2026 – an exact date will be shared soon.
  • Our action: We are actively monitoring API traffic and will contact users directly if necessary.
  • Your action: Please review the endpoint mapping below and update your integrations immediately using the Latest API Documentation.

Endpoint mapping and breaking changes

The legacy /users endpoints will no longer support or return Technical Users after the switch. In future, API users will be managed over dedicated API endpoints. Thus, you have to migrate to the dedicated /api-users endpoints. The following endpoints are affected under https://bosch-iot-insights.com/project-management-service:

Currently, it is possible to manage both user types over the same API.

What is NOT affected

  • Human Users (IDP Users): All endpoints, workflows, and integrations managing human logins remain unchanged.
